Hello, I’m Brittany Leaning!

I currently hold the position of HubSpot’s Social Media Manager, but also identify as: an inbound marketing lover, traveler, coffee drinker, camping addict, bicycle enthusiast, professional yard sale navigator, and the owner of a shiny new Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Champlain College.

I started this blog in the summer of 2010 before my fall semester abroad in Amsterdam, Netherlands. During this time I attended HES, the Hogeschool van Amsterdam division of Business and Economics. Back then, the blog was titled “Venture Abroad,” which gave me fewer options once my adventures abroad were over. Instead of abandoning the blog after my semester, I decided to give it a face lift and reposition its focus toward trusting your instincts and gaining perspective, or rather understanding your leanings and making decisions based on these.
